THE EFFECTS OF CHARACTERISTIC YOUNG STUDENTS AT 5-7 AND 8-10 YEARS OLD AND THEIR CONTRIBUTION OF TEACHING METHOD OF LESSON STUDY ON PRIMARY HIGH SCHOOL IN JAPAN

Based on observations while attending lesson studies in primary & high schools in Japan, the stages of Lesson Study program are: first, teachers prepare the lesson (PLAN); secondly, of the volunteer teachers teaches the lesson (DO) while other teachers observe; thirdly, after the lesson, the volunteer teachers & the observers speak about the result of the teaching learning process, delivering feedback to the volunteer teacher (REFLECT).

Learning teaching process is a complex phenomenon (Bobbi Deporter, Mark Readon, Sarah, 1999: 6), it needs a method to get the aim of learning teaching process, many teachers are learning again from kids: keep language whole & involve kids in using it functionally & purposefully to meet their own needs (Ken Goodman & Yetta, 1986: 7). In my view, Lesson Study (Jugyou Kenkyuu) is a approach method in learning teaching process by involving emotional bound, emphatic, & togetherness between teacher & student until the interest & enthusiasm of student are growth up to attend the teaching learning process from the outset until the finish. Furthermore, the main aim in English as Foreign Language (EFL) setting is to permit personal growth & enrichment (Fraida D. & Elite O., 1986: 24). This method helps the teacher to increase their teaching quality & quantity by giving supportive criticism & suggestion each other in order they can improve their ability in learning teaching method. In Quantum Teaching book written that one times kids feel secure & content in the classroom, they can be encouraged to become independent & adventurous in the learning of the language. Security is not an attitude or ability, but it is essential if they would like our kids to get the maximum out of the language lesson.
