THE EFFECTS OF CHARACTERISTIC YOUNG STUDENTS AT 5-7 AND 8-10 YEARS OLD AND THEIR CONTRIBUTION OF TEACHING METHOD OF LESSON STUDY ON PRIMARY HIGH SCHOOL IN JAPAN 3

Based on Wendy A. Scott and Lisbeth H. Ytreberg (1990: 1-2) that there is a big difference between what children of five can do and what children of ten can do. Some children develop early, some later. Some children develop gradually, others in leaps and bounds. It is not possible to say that at the age of five all children can do x, at the age of seven they can all do y, or that at the age of ten they can all do z. According to The children divided into two main groups, the five to seven year olds and the eight to ten year olds. The book assuming that the five to seven year olds are all at level one, the beginner stage. The eight to ten year olds may also beginners, or they may have been learning the foreign language for some time.

Five to seven year olds
What five to seven year olds can do in this level?
    They can talk about what they are doing.
    They can tall you about what they have done or heard.
    They can plan activities.
    They can argue for something and tell you why they think what they think.
   
Eight to ten year olds
What eight to ten year olds can do in this level?
    They can tell the difference between fact and fiction.
    They have definite views about what they like and don’t like doing
    They are able to work with others and learn from others.
    They ask questions all the time.

Now the times to teacher to look again that teach in not only just transfer the knowledge, but also teach students to be a person that criticism to everything around them. The best giving that you can give to your students is the faith that you are with him, that you want them to success and together you and them can reach the success together. This friendship can’t be measured, and will not appear in the standard test value, but there is no has good value without that friendship

The last, lesson study is a method from the any method to make lessons more open and attractive, encourage teachers to be more open-minded and supportive their colleagues and thus make the schools themselves and their students more open and creative. Lesson study aims to improve the quality of the learning process conducted by a group of teachers collaboratively and continuously through planning, doing, observing, and reporting on result.
